Cabbage Storage Tips

Cabbage can be stored in the refrigerator for two to three weeks in a plastic bag or a covered container. Once cut, use cabbage within two to three days. Freeze fresh or cooked cabbage in airtight containers or freezer bags for up to 10 months.

Did you know?

To shred cabbage, cut the head into four quarters and cut out the hard stalk in the middle. Cut each quarter into fine shreds.
